Two Months

On May 29th, a silly, excited little boy entered the Civil Affairs Office and became a member of our family; and he hasn't looked back!  Two months later, it's already hard to remember when he wasn't here.  As transitions go, this one has got to be one of the easiest ever; and, for that, we are very thankful!  He has learned English at lightning speed and is making sentences and saying new things each day.  He has the cutest little accent and adds an "ah" sound to the end of many words for sort of an Italian flair.  Some of his favorites -- "That's-ah mine!", "Give-ah to me!", "Where you going?", "Ma, watch this!", "This-ah everybody's", "You okay?", "Where's-ah Daddy?", "Christian go with Madison", "Trust God" (learned at VBS a couple of weeks ago and repeated MANY times since), "Christian go school later."  And, yes, he will go to school in two weeks.  Should be interesting!  Everything he does is done with gusto and enthusiasm.  He's an all or nothing sort of guy!  That includes opening his heart to a brand new family.  So glad we got to be that family!
