It was a rainy, dreary morning; so we decided to take the double decker tram and just ride around the city and see what life here is like on a Saturday morning. It's very interesting! We spent about two hours riding and watching and particularly enjoyed the street markets where they were selling fresh fruits and vegetables and extremely fresh meats and fish -- as in still moving! After lunch, we took a little time to rest then took the Star Ferry across the harbor to Kowloon to watch the Symphony of Lights, a spectacular laser light show put on each night at 8. It was still pretty overcast, so the show wasn't quite as visible as usual; but it was still amazing! Jet lag seems to have hit a little more today, so we're headed to bed. Tomorrow we leave for Guangzhou! Pictures are being uploaded to the shutterfly site.
This one is for Reagan and Peyton!
