Hong Kong Adventures

We had a great day touring Hong Kong!  After a traditional Chinese breakfast (McDonald's!), we headed for the subway station and made our way to the Ngong Ping 360 cable car which took us over the bay and up the side of a huge mountain to a village built around a monastery and a tremendous Buddha statue.  The views were amazing!  Then we took the subway and a bus to get to the top of The Peak where we saw even more spectacular scenery.  After a tram ride back down that mountain, we took the subway back to our apartment -- quite proud of ourselves for figuring out the various transit systems!  Most of the crew is ready to crash!  We fared pretty well most of the day, but the jet lag is catching up with us now.

Pictures of the day's fun are at http://www.nealchina2012.shutterfly.com/.  That's where we will add pictures each day.  Here are a few of the highlights --

I don't think I've mentioned that Madison's friend, Lensie, is traveling with us; but she is the other blonde 16-year-old in the pictures.
