A Glimpse Into the Past

In December, we had a care package service send a birthday cake to Christian and included a disposable camera with the hope that his foster family would use it and send it back to us.  When we met him, he had the camera in his bag of belongings.  We had the pictures developed this week and were delighted to see shots of his former home and his foster siblings!  Well, we don't know for sure who the children are, but we do know he had foster siblings.  He just smiles and shakes his head when we ask who they are, but he is obviously excited to see them and points to the cake and says "Christian happy birthday!"  So glad he got to celebrate that birthday with them and that his next one will be with us!

Apparently he was wishing really hard!!
